The Environment, Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager ensures compliance with Colombian and Perú regulations regarding occupational health and safety, also road safety for all employees, contractors, and consultants. The role also promotes a culture of wellbeing and environmental responsibility, aligning with corporate standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SG-SST), including the Global Health & Wellbeing Program and compliance with local laws.
  • Advise and support management on health, safety, and wellbeing policies, procedures, and risk assessments to ensure regulatory and corporate compliance.
  • Promote a safety culture within the organization by raising awareness, providing training, and encouraging risk ownership among line managers.
  • Lead and monitor health and safety improvement plans, including audits, inspections, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage training programs for employees on health and safety compliance, including identifying needs and delivering sessions internally or via external consultants.
  • Oversee environmental and ESG initiatives, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and managing third-party contracts related to EHS&W services.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Medical Doctor or Industrial Engineer with a valid Colombian Occupational Health (SST) license.
  • Completion of the 50-hour course (and/or an additional 20-hour module) in Occupational Health and Safety (SST)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in EHS&W management, preferably in multinational companies.
  • Strong knowledge of Colombian regulations and international standards related to occupational health and safety.
  • Experience in implementing SG-SST and managing audits and inspections.
  • Perú knowledge of local labor and Occupational Health and Safety (SST)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.

Complementary Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Training in road safety (Colombia).
  • Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO
