As a Payroll Semisenior you will be responsible for managing the entire payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key duties include overseeing payroll calculations, tax and benefits administration, conducting reconciliations, and preparing reports. The position also involves guiding junior staff, supporting audits, analyzing payroll data for improvements, and ensuring adherence to local regulations and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including payroll processing, tax withholding (if necessary) and benefits administration.
- Perform pre-review of payroll calculations and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to junior staff members on payroll processes, regulations and best practices.
- Analyze payroll data and trends to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to enhance payroll operations.
- Assist payroll audits and LO reviews.
- Ensuring that payroll processes are in compliance with local regulations, legal and taxation standards, procedures and comply with legislative obligations as well as TMF internal and global guidelines and internal auditing requirements (e.g. ISAE certification).
- Assist in the reconciliation of payroll on monthly basis, data entry, starters and leavers.
- Supervision the preparation of payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax filings, and other relevant reports.
- Assist in the set up and manage the payroll administration for new clients.
Key Requirements
- Advanced English Skills (B2-C1).
- Student at least 9 semester or University or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; professional certification (e.g., CPP) is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in payroll processing or related roles.
- Proficiency in payroll software systems and intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- General knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in reconciling payroll accounts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Leadership abilities, with experience in mentoring junior staff and leading payroll projects.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, time management and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
