**Essential** Responsibilities**:

- Execute the accounting for operational cash accounts, cash investments, accounts payable, and other key areas
- Manage the accounts payable electronic mailbox to ensure all vendor communications have been appropriately addressed
- Participate in the invoice management process to ensure appropriate accounting recognition and proper approvals of invoices
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors
- Reconcile accounts payable balances with supplier statements.
- Manage and execute fund transfers, monitoring cash flows to ensure sufficient funds are available for daily operations
- Prepare journal entries and monthly reconciliation reports associated with accounting month-end close
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with the North America Accounting department to ensure smooth month-end processes that result in timely and accurate internal accounting and reporting
- Participate in global month-end close procedures for certain Latin America entities (i.e., Colombia and Peru)
- Assist the US accounting and reporting team to complete US GAAP financial statements
- Contribute to the proper completion of statutory accounting and reporting for Latin American markets
- Build and maintain a professional network to share best practices

**Required **knowledge and **experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or administration.
- 5+ years of related professional experience with accounting and treasury (online gaming experience** is a PLUS**)
- Fluent in both Spanish and English** is a MUST**:

- Experience with corporate governance and controls management, including processes and systems
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to provide executive summaries.
- Strong problem-solving analytical skills, with an ability to drive data analytics and make appropriate conclusions on results.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines across a variety of stakeholders to meet targets and deliverable dates.
- Experience and a desire to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment that demands creativity and flexibility.
- Adequate accounting knowledge, including a basic understanding of accounting systems.
- Concur and NetSuite experience **is a PLUS**:

- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to analyze large quantities of data and use data to improve processes.
