Mach Solutions Architect I

Our team is in search of a Commerce MACH Solutions Architect/Engineering Manager with top-notch skills and a drive to thrive in a remote work environment.

This individual must possess the ability to design and implement high-performing and scalable eCommerce solutions in line with client's business objectives. A deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, industry compliance, and the ability to employ emerging technologies is integral to this role. With problem-solving prowess, clear communication skills, and a passion for innovative solutions, this individual will be instrumental in our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The architecture of thorough eCommerce solutions that line up with clients' business objectives, technical needs, and industry standards
- Development of extensive architecture blueprints, detailed technical specifications, and clear integration plans
- Evaluation and recommendation of eCommerce platforms and technologies, considering client requirements, scalability, and performance
- Technical leadership provision and direction to cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Close collaboration with stakeholders to convert business requirements into technical solutions
- Optimization of eCommerce solutions to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability
- Implementation of secure measures protecting eCommerce platforms against vulnerabilities and cyberthreats
- Compliance monitoring with industry regulations such as PCI DSS and GDPR
- Definition and implementation of quality assurance processes to ensure eCommerce solution reliability
- Coordination of code reviews, performance testing, and user acceptance testing to uphold software quality
- Preparation of concise technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides
- Drive for improving eCommerce development processes, tooling, and automation
- Proactive identification of system performance optimization, user experience enhancement, and workflow streamlining opportunities

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on software development experience
- Minimum two years' experience as an eCommerce Solutions Architect or similar
- Mastership of eCommerce platforms like Magento, Shopify, WooCommerce or custom-built solutions
- Proficiency with one or more platforms such as CommerceTools, BigCommerce, Contentful, and Contentstack
- Comprehensive understanding of MACH architecture, including headless commerce, microservices architecture, and API-centric approaches
- Familiarity with programming languages like Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Python, or Go
- Understanding of frontend frameworks and libraries such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Expertise with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs, web services, and integration patterns for eCommerce system connectivity
- Exceptional problem-solving aptitude for troubleshooting complex technical issues in eCommerce settings
- Fluency in English, with superior verbal and written communication skill
