What you will do

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing end-to-end data pipelines and solutions using Data Bricks in a cloud-native Azure environment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data ingestion, schema design for different layers (Bronze, Silver, and Gold), and seamless integration with other Big Data tech stacks or data warehousing technologies.

**Responsibilities**:
- Design and implement end-to-end data pipelines using Data Bricks in a cloud-native Azure environment.- Develop data ingestion processes and ensure smooth and efficient data flow from various sources into the data ecosystem.- Design and optimize data schemas for different layers (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) to support efficient data processing and analysis.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical data solutions.- Implement data governance practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data ecosystem.- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data engineering, data warehousing, and Big Data concepts.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements and technical skills- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Extensive experience working with Data Bricks, including data ingest, schema design for different layers, and end-to-end pipeline implementation.- Strong proficiency in working with Data Bricks in a cloud-native Azure environment, including hands-on experience with tools like Azure Data Factory for data ingestion.-
- General proficiency in Microsoft Azure services and technologies.- Familiarity with other Big Data tech stacks such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is a plus.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex data engineering challenges.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in cross-functional teams.- Ability to adapt quickly and learn new technologies, frameworks, and tools.- Proven track record of delivering high-quality data engineering solutions within project timelines.- If you are a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Engineer with expertise in Data Bricks, Azure, and data engineering principles, we would love to hear from you.
