**Job Summary**
As a Senior Automation lead you will report on-site to the Development Director in the EA Bogota office, and act as the Subject Matter Expert and enabler for all automation-related quality strategies. You will empower the team to design, implement, and optimize automation pipelines through the use of a variety of technologies including AI and Machine Learning. You will provide insightful reporting on outcomes, support adoption plans, and ultimately ensure the team is well positioned for long-term success through the use of technology.
**Your Responsibilities**
**Automation Strategy and Implementation**
- Define and own large scope, scalable automation strategies and implement from start to finish.
- Ensure project-wide automation efforts are focused in the most valuable areas.
- Identify project-wide technology problem spaces and collaborate with partners to resolve as a unified front.
- Collaborate with partners to identify and implement appropriate improvements to automation tooling well into the future.
**Quality and Data Analysis**
- Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and risk.
- Use different testing methodologies and analyze feature sets for automation opportunities (Risk-based Testing, Data/AI-driven testing, and more).
- Use development tools to guide issue identification upstream and promote defect prevention.
- Ensure measurement and communication of automation and technology value team-wide.
**Collaboration and Communication**
- Be a communication bridge between development partners and QA teams.
- Provide technical, quantitative, and qualitative feedback.
- Represent the QA perspective in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.
**Mentorship and Team Support**
- Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across multiple teams
- Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies and professional growth
**Our Requirements**
**Experience and Knowledge**
- 5+ years of experience in test automation leadership roles, enabling the delivery of quality automation at scale.
- Proven ability to drive long term innovation from start to finish, and anticipate industry trends.
- Proficient in the creation and management of test strategy evolution anchored in Defect prevention, containment, and early QA involvement.
- Experience using telemetry, data analytics, and AI/ML capabilities to enhance test insight and impact.
- Proficient in using technology (e.g. automation, data analysis) to evolve QA processes to enhance player satisfaction.
- Experience helping others to engage in automation, acting as a direct mentor to help them grow their technical skillset
- Experience with software development practices, system architecture, and development risks.
- Experience driving tech-enhanced testing using modern development tools and frameworks.
- Experience setting, communicating, and driving long-term technical strategy including planning 1-3 years into the future
