This position will be part of the Finance Controlling team providing strong financial leadership and guidance to business unit, finance stakeholders, global services center and different processes/functions. This role actively supports the Finance Controlling Manager in maintaining overall Financial integrity and accuracy making sure J&J accounting/tax standards are met and business development reflected correctly. This role must ensure correct financial processes are followed through a robust control, analysis and proactive business partnering. A Can-do approach, strong proactivity and excellent communication skills are crucial as well as the willingness to challenge status quo, be critical and value creation oriented.
**Key Responsibilities**
- _To lead SOP maintenance accross main business processes/functions, guaranteeing policies are followed and meeting compliance governance requirements _
- _To support month end closing for VENECENCA working together with CFM, Business Finance and GS by guaranteeing registers under BUF responsibility are timely posted and by anticipating, analyzing and identifying any gaps vs plan _
- _To lead and support corporate audits and act as a focal point with business support areas to gather/analyze any information requirements _
- _To actively participate in discussions and initiatives that can improve the finance controlling role as a stronger business partner that can ultimately contribute to better financial results _
- _To raise any concerns about potential gaps and risks in a preventive and proactive way seeking to influence business decision making _
- _To lead and support SOX Controls from BUF Northern Cluster reinforcing the importance of these controls with main stakeholders like CPE; Deliver; Marketing and Planning _
- _To challenge status quo of current processes seeking to achieve efficiencies, automation and a more intentional/purposeful Controlling role _
- _To support Finance Controller in important processes like FX Hedging; ICP/COGS reevaluation and monthly reviews of financial statements _
- _To coordinate resources to meet short-term financial objectives. _
- _To coordinate, influence and supervise the financial support provided by (CFM/GS). _
- _To partners with GS, business finance, Deliver, Planning, CPE and other stakeholders to establish an integrated way of working which can ultimately contribute to better financial results and compliance health outcomes. _
**Qualifications**:
**Qualifications**
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree **required **(Business Administration, Economics, Finance)
- **Prefer **a minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within Finance, FP&A, Controlling, General Accounting
- **Prefer **previous experience in the Consumer/Pharma industries
- **Must**: Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired results
- **Must**: SAP / Office tools
- **Must**: Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders
- Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates **is preferred**
- **Must**: Skilled at engaging and building relationships with senior business stakeholders **required
