**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in developing control structures within a simple environment to ensure the accuracy of data through all upstream and downstream data channels
- Assist the Senior Manager in establishing and governing an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for the development of information-based capabilities
- Assist in rolling out an enterprise-wide data governance framework with a focus on the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture
- Support in defining roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for the stewardship of the company’s principal information assets
- Prepare and manage inventory of the enterprise information maps including authoritative systems and owners
- Assist Senior Manager on the data quality standards, data protection standards, and adoption requirements across the enterprise
- Understand and ensure compliance with data-related policies, standards, roles and responsibilities, and adoption requirements

**Qualifications** Position Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance master data governance or in finance master data management
- Strong understanding of financial accounting and related business processes
- Experience creating business process flows or workflows
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Intermediate facilitation skills with the ability to drive issues to closure
- Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with mínimal supervision or questions
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Project, and Outlook
- Understanding of data quality and data analysis

Preferred Requirements/Competencies:

- Knowledge of SQL and VBA
- Experience in writing various documents such as functional requirements
- Understanding of privacy laws and regulations
- Ability to compare technologies and make recommendations to senior members of the team
- Certification in Data Governance
