Job Function: Finance The role: We are thrilled to announce an opportunity to join our team as: **Head of Finance Colombia**: Full Time | Bogotá **Role Overview**: The Head of Finance position is responsible for being a strategic financial advisor to the business. Coordinating accounts reconciliations, preparing financial documents, and analyzing reports to provide management with financial information, while adhering to Corporate Accounting Guidelines and local accounting laws. **Strategic Responsibilities**: **Business Partnering (BP-CFO)** - Strategic profile, actively involved in defining and completing the financial strategy to drive the country's growth. - Capable of influencing key decision-making by providing financial insights to achieve both local and global objectives. **Leadership and Team Management** - Strong and empowering leader, capable of influencing and motivating the team while driving improvements in the current structure. - Acts as a strategic partner to the Financial Shared Services Center (FSSC), ensuring alignment between local operations and global functions. - Promotes a coaching and development culture within the direct reports. **Finance Responsibilities**: - Responsible for all accounting activities both directly and indirectly managed. Implements and follows the Corporate Accounting Guidelines. - Primary resource for problem solving for accounting related issues. - Responsible for preparing Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statement. - Reconciles sub-ledgers with general ledge. - Prepares, analyzes, and coordinates account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts. - Responsible for Cash Management. - Works in concert with members of the management team, responsible for development and improvement of companywide systems and procedures. - Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls. - Responsible for establishment, implementation and compliance with customer credit management policies, procedures, and processes. - Aligns with local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports. - Responsible for all VAT related activities. - Assumes role of ERP-Power user (Microsoft Navision). - Coordination with external Finance Partners (Payroll office / tax office / auditors). - Responsible for local Finance team.
