ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
TelevisaUnivision is looking for a Motion Designer to join our Digital News Team
She/he will work with the Senior Editor to pitch, report and publish compelling stories that dive deep into issues affecting Hispanic communities in the U.S. and abroad.
They’ll work with a collaborative team of motion graphic animators and multimedia reporters to push the boundaries of visual storytelling in our award-winning team.
ABOUT YOU:
YOUR DAY-DAY:
- Work with the team of motion graphic animators and multimedia reporters to push the boundaries of visual storytelling on our award-winning team.
- Create stories and presentations that incorporate audio, video, still images, and text.
- Enhance visual and motion design with a clear understanding of typography, layout, color and movement.
- Meet deadlines and adapt to change in a daily and unpredictable news production environment.
- Knowledge of motion design and traditional graphic design
- Handle the daily work tools After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite
- Be available to work a flexible schedule.
YOU HAVE:
- 3+ years of design / motion experience
- Attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to adapt to change in a daily, unpredictable news production environment.
- Experience working collaboratively with members of a mixed-media team.
- Expertise in After Effects software
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite
- Willingness to work nights and weekends.
