Senior DevOps Engineer

CSG’s Digital Engagement Solutions (DES) R&D Xponent Engineering Group is hiring an Operations Engineer II. This platform, release, and support engineer will join a growing, dynamic team in building the next generation of functionality and scalability of our Journey Orchestration and Analytics platform.

What you'll do
- A desire to improve everything they work on
- 5+ years of experience delivering a SAAS or PAAS Product in the cloud
- You will Coordinate across multiple teams (Services, Development)
- You will provide quick support and excellent documentation for the things you build
- Experience with and used CI/CD like GitLab and Azure DevOps
- Experience provisioning operations and management in AWS/GCP or Azure
- Troubleshooting experience especially in finding and fixing bugs and familiarity with RCA and Post Mortems (Chaos Engineering)
- Familiar with Cloud Monitoring tools such as AWS Cloud watch and Nagios
- You will identify tasks suitable for automation
- Scripting language skills (Python, Bash, Terraform, and Ansible)
- You will work with your peers to provide support for a globally distributed platform
- You will lead projects
- You will promote modern standards in DevOps, Big Data ETL, and Cloud Practices
- You will review and mentor your teammates in multiple operations tasks to allow multiple opportunities for growth

Basic Qualifications
- Terraform or Ansible/Chef/Puppet experience
- Provable Bash scripting and Python coding experience
- Experience delivering elegant solutions to complex problems
- Rave reviews from former teammates
