A bit about the team and what you'll deliver..._**

We are looking for a **Senior DevOps Engineer **to join our team in Bogotá Colombia. Reporting to the Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Trustonic’s cloud infrastructure. Working in collaboration with cross-functional teams you will streamline our development and deployment processes, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.

As part of the Telecoms Platform Engineering team, we are looking for a **Senior DevOps Engineer** you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.

As the **Senior DevOps Engineer** you will be responsible for:
**Cloud Infrastructure Design, Implementation and Management**
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient AWS Cloud infrastructure to support the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and cost optimization.

**Automation and Scripting**
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.

**Collaboration with Development Teams**
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure and deployments.

**Monitoring and Logging**
- Set up and maintain centralized logging systems for tracking and analyzing system logs.

**Security Compliance**
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments.

**Documentation**
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.

**Mentorship and Collaboration**
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior members of the DevOps team.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

**_ Who you are..._**

As the **Senior DevOps Engineer** you are/have:

- Proficient in automation tools such as Terraform, or Chef.
- Strong scripting skills (Bash, Python, or related).
- Proficient in version control systems, especially Git.
- Familiar with programming languages like Java, Ruby, or Go can be beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Languages - fluent English, both written and spoken

**_ What make you, you..._**

Knowledge and experience in or of the following:

- Networking, security, and infrastructure best practices.
- A passion for continuous improvement.
- 7+ Years of experience in IT and 4+ years proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior role.
- Telecom provisioning experience is value added.
- Cloud technologies and automation.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS and ECS).
- Solid Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or airflow.
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms especially in AWS. Should be AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner. AWS DevOps Engineer certification is value added.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
