**Description**:

As an Operations Support Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting data and providing logistics information to aid cost-effective, efficient, timely, and high-quality logistics solutions.
**Some of your responsibilities will be**:
1. Meets compliance protocols, both internal and external, in accordance with US government agencies’ regulations.

2. Create a booking depending on if the cargo will go in a regular container or refeer or flat rack.

3. Must maintain an accuracy rate of at least 95%.

4. Opens files and ensures accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.

5. Performs pre-audit to each Bill of Lading against shipping instructions and rate prior to submitting final Bill of Lading to our auditing department, using internal sources of information relevant to the selection of the rate.

6. Ensures all shipping instructions provided by customers or Traffic department

7. Confirms that scanned paperwork, pictures, and documentation are attached to each dock receipt, booking and bill of lading.

8. Maintains knowledge of changing tariffs, tariff rates, contracts, and special rates.

9. Ensures communication is clear and detailed to limit delays or misunderstanding among parties.

10. Communicates with supervisor to proactively ensure smooth production of bills of lading and any other export documentation required.

11. Keeps skills current in the appropriate use of all relevant information and communication technology and other systems within the import/export function.

12. Adheres to local and externally relevant health and safety/security laws and policies.

13. Request pictures of the frieght

14. Review if the cargo needs special documentation

15. Handles appointments with carriers and dispatchers.


**Requirements**:
**What would help you succeed**:

- Understand the importance of time management and being service-oriented.
- High School Diploma or Bachelors degree in international business, business administration, or logistics related.
- Language: Advanced B2+ to C1 English level. being able to speak English fluently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the transportation industry, or working for us based companies as a Customer Service.
