**Human Resources Coordinator**

**Location**: Panama City, Panama
**Department**: Human Resources
**Reports to**: HR Director
**Salary Range**: USD $1,500 - $1,700 monthly
**Type**: Hybrid

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a dedicated **Human Resources Coordinator** to join our team in Panama City, Panama. This role is pivotal in bridging communication between management and staff, supporting various HR functions including recruitment, payroll, and employee engagement. The Human Resources Coordinator will work closely with the HR Director to ensure smooth HR operations and promote a positive workplace culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and coordinate the recruitment process, ensuring continuous collaboration with recruitment agencies.
- Act as a backup for payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution in the absence of the HR Manager.
- Execute comprehensive onboarding activities to integrate new employees seamlessly.
- Handle the preparation and organization of hiring documentation.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including learning programs, wellness activities, and benefits management.
- Collaborate on broader HR activities, ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering employee well-being.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- 1.5+ years of professional experience in human resources.
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation, payroll, and tax compliance.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to multitask and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with recruitment software.
- Experience with payroll systems and employee engagement platforms.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
