Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Supports the execution process by reviewing due diligence reports, coordinating with clients, advisors, and internal counterparties
- Builds Excel financial models for project finance transactions with the ability to create various financing structures and credit metrics
- Conducts quarterly and annual reviews of loan portfolio and handle a variety of system and procedural issues related to the borrowers such as internal grading, monthly/quarterly reporting, and other ad hoc projects
- Assists in monitoring and managing existing transactions including waivers, amendments, dividend transactions, loan closings and funding, and other credit events that may impact the borrower.
- Present sresearch and analytics to senior marketing officers that supports new business opportunities stay abreast of industry trends and current market conditions.
- Works with senior colleagues to prepare pitch books and presentation materials related to client marketing.
- Provides ad hoc reports for management

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Accounting or equivalent experience working at a corporate bank or other financial institution
- Advanced Degree ( MBA, MS, MA, MPA) and formal credit training a plus.
- Languages Required: English and Spanish
- 2 to 5 years of comparable or relevant experience; A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an analyst at a bank or financial institution with a quantatative modeling background.
- Highly proficient MS Excel skills. Knowledge of LatAm market.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familar with Bloomberg
- Experienced in reading and interpreting financial statements and perform cash flow analysis proficiently
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, ability to synthesize large amounts of information, analyze risk and identify mitigating factors.
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and systems. Works well in a culturally diverse and team oriented environment. Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and an interest in continuous learning.
Highly collaborative and flexible in a team and client environment and ability to form good relationships internally and externally
- Able to coordinate and communicate with various internal departments across the bank (middle/back office, global counterparts.)
- Ability to organize thoughts and clearly articulate points and provide summaries and explanations of transactions, verbally or in writing to management or other internal departments.
- Demonstrates a high degree of attention to detail and an ability to complete work accurately and in a timely manner against strict deadlines.
- Self-driven and motivated; takes personal ownership of specific assignments.
- Build financial models for project finance with credit ratios and sensitivities.
- Familiarity with Latin America market.
