Regional Quality Assurance Lead - directly reports to Regional Director, functionally reports to the Global Quality Assurance Manager
**Job Summary**
In this role, the Regional Quality Assurance Lead is responsible for the implementation and utilization of the Sensia Quality Management System within their region of Sensia. The role is responsible for developing regional policies and procedures that are aligned with the corporate procedures and ISO 9001:2015. The role provides support to regional projects and manufacturing, the development of resources and tools, both internal and external, that contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of key Quality Assurance activities such as internal audit, supplier qualification, and maintenance processes, corrective action, and continual improvement.
The individual in this role will work closely with the Sensia Business Units and Departments such as; Project Management, Sales, Engineering and Operations to assure Sensia’s quality requirements are effectively implemented and achieved.
In addition to those noted above, duties will Include:
- Liaise with business leaders to assure adoption and implementation of the QMS.
- Provide regional training on Quality related activities.
- Support evaluation, approval, and ongoing maintenance of suppliers.
- Serve as liaison between Project Management, Project Engineering, Sustaining Engineering, Procurement and Manufacturing to assure quality and reliability from supply base.
- When applicable, produce and report to top management audit results and recommendations for improvement of the QMS.
- Collate, analyze, and monitor performance data and charts in support of the Goals and Objectives for the Sensia Organization.
- When required, participate in product failure investigation and CAR investigations, root cause analysis processes.
- Support new program launches and localization/resourcing/consolidation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance and certification, as needed, with national and international standards and legislation
- Support the business with Customer audits and AVL registration
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
**Minimum Job Qualifications**
- Minimum 5 years of experience with a strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and/or API Q1 Quality standard.
Interpersonal skills and abilities to influence others to achieve Quality objectives.
- Track record of organizing and conducting effective cross-functional team meetings. Able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to effectively communicate and engage with various interested parties both internal and external to the organization.
- Proven ability with digital platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel both domestically and International as required.
- Fluent in the regional languages
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor of Science Degree in a technical field such as Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, etc.
- Proficient knowledge of industry and quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ASME IX, ASME B31.3, ATEX, PED, API, etc.
- Six Sigma Green and/or Black Belt certification
- ASQ CQA/CQE or IRCA certified auditor
