**_Role Description_**

We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to work in a growing multidisciplinary team engaged in the design of a variety of building and infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

- Design structural elements in various building types and materials, including steel, concrete, and mass-timber.
- Prepare and review drawings detailing the systems designed.
- System design calculations.
- Develop Analysis Models and calculations (scripting, code writing).
- Report Writing.
- Lead work on defined tasks under the close supervision of a project director.
- Project Management of single or multidiscipline projects.
- Mentoring staff and providing training to junior technical staff
- Management of client interface.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Master's degree or higher in Structural or Seismic Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in practice.
- PE registration is desired.
- Experience managing project delivery
- A commitment to sustainable design practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build consensus among clients and teammates alike
- Presentation skills with colleagues and clients of all levels
- Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
- A desire to have a high degree of autonomy and responsibility
- Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges.
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaker is desired.
