Interstaff LLC is a global staffing company searching for a **qualified Paralegal - Corporate / Commercial Law - Remote.**

**Position Overview**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- **1. Legal Document Preparation**: Draft, review, and edit a variety of corporate/commercial related legal documents, including but not limited to “business-to-business” and “business-to-consumer” agreements, demand letters, some limited litigation issues, including discovery requests & responses, responses to complaints, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with USA laws.
- **2. USA Law Knowledge**:Demonstrate and be willing to stay up to date on USA laws and other relevant statutes & regulations. Knowledge (or a willingness to learn) copyright, trademark laws and also privacy and data security requirements/regulations.
- **3. Legal Research**: Conduct legal research on federal and California and other state laws, recent case precedents, regulations, and legal articles to support attorneys in case preparation and legal strategy.
- **4. Case Management**: Assist attorneys in managing corporate/commercial law cases by organizing case files, maintaining documentation, and tracking deadlines.
- **5. Client Communication**: Maintain regular communication with clients, update them on case progress, gather necessary information, and ensure timely responses to inquiries.
- **6. Compliance Review**: Review corporate policies, contracts, and procedures to ensure compliance with USA laws and regulations.
- **7. Legal Writing**: Assist in the preparation of legal memoranda, briefs, and other written materials (including articles) under attorney supervision.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in law or equivalent in paralegal studies or a related field.
- Law degree or paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, with a strong background in Corporate / Commercial Law, particularly focusing on Intellectual Property.
- Proficiency in drafting legal documents with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comprehensive knowledge of USA & California laws and regulations.
- Strong legal research skills and familiarity with legal databases and resources.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote work setting.
- Proficiency in using remote collaboration tools and software.
- Familiarity with employment law software and case management systems.

**Working From Home**:

- Fluent in spoken and written English at a B2 level or above
- Good American accent
- Quiet home office work environment
- Willing to work in US PST time zone
