You will provide mentorship to a global cross-functional team comprising of various functions like data science, statistical analysis, automation, BI, analytics architecture, experimentation, and business analysis. **Scope**:

- **Lead a growing team**:

- Lead the data science team and oversee all their activities with respect to use-case delivery ensuring alignment with our business-wide vision and strategy at every step.
- Manage data science acceleration partners and suppliers to augment our capabilities.
- Serve as a technical guide to the team and contribute to the overall infrastructure design
- **Design and develop production-ready data science solutions**:

- Scope, design, and implement machine-learning models to solve interesting user-cases and achieve measurable improvements
- Lead big data & analytics initiatives and greenfield projects implementations
- Lead instate A/B testing as an integral part of the pipeline when evaluating changes in the offered products and services
- **Deliver measurable business value with a focus on “test & learn” methodology**:

- Identify trends and meaningful actions for business decisions and find avenues to improve their operations
- Track performance & derive insight from the accumulated data to create value for the business.
- Create robust experimental designs and guide the statistical analysts in creating experiments to test the soundness of the algorithms developed
- **Develop our advanced analytics capabilities**:

- Lead the development of big data capabilities as well as the coordination of cross-functional analytics for the global business
- Champion a culture of data informed decision-making, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and in doing so you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle including data collection and management
- **Lead a growing team of MLOps Engineers & Architects**:

- Serve as a technical guide to the team and contribute to the overall MLOps infrastructure design
- Develop a playbook for MLOps Engineering and set global standards for managing MLOps activities across Inchcape
- Work closely with data scientists, business, and IT teams to build platform and framework to enable machine learning and data analytics activities ensuring robustness & scalability of solutions
- **Design and develop ML Models in Production including Model Lifecycle management**:

- Scope, design, and implement machine-learning models to solve interesting user-cases and achieve measurable improvements
- Continuous innovation and optimization of machine learning workflow, through R&D on modern technologies.
- Collaborate with Data Science teams on model operationalization strategies
- **Set the tone for Real-time Machine Learning at Inchcape**:

- As a Lead in the MLOps team, you will be owning the responsibility in developing the backend on Azure to deliver world class practices within data engineering and machine learning modelling
- Support and continuously enhance ML software infrastructure: CI/CD, feature stores, cloud services, network configuration, security, system monitoring
- **Develop the API Economy for Inchcape using Microservices and Analytics-as-a-service**:

- Analytics-as-a-service is your mantra and develop relevant capabilities on the cloud to enable & monitor services based on the principles or Microservices
- Use containerization and cloud technologies (eg. OpenShift, Kuber
