We’re looking for a proactive and analytical **Accounts Receivable Manager** to lead receivables across 500+ accounts, drive process improvements, and manage a remote team. If you're passionate about optimizing systems, analyzing trends, and scaling finance operations—this is the role for you.
**What You’ll Do**
- Analyze aging reports to assess credit risk and improve cash flow.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and billing issues.
- Lead and support a remote team of 4 A/R agents, setting clear expectations and workflows.
- Monitor and manage third-party billing portals and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
- Oversee daily cash receipts, eDeposits, PayPal, and credit card transactions.
- Maintain and improve credit policies, SOPs, and documentation.
- Prepare key reports including DSO tracking, performance dashboards, and collection summaries.
- Collaborate with Finance on credit reviews and receivables forecasting.
- Recommend and implement data-driven process and policy improvements.
**What We’re Looking For**
- 2+ years in Accounts Receivable leadership or senior accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting and managerial accounting.
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (CargoWise a plus).
- Proven ability to lead remote teams and optimize workflows.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on accuracy and forecasting.
- Experience building credit policies and A/R processes from the ground up.
