**Junior Web Developer (WordPress)**:
We are searching for a motivated and eager-to-learn **Junior Web Developer (WordPress)**to join our growing web development team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of web development who is eager to grow in a full-stack environment and contribute to a global marketing platform powered by WordPress multisite.

In this role, you’ll report directly to the Senior Manager, Web Development, and work alongside experienced developers in frontend, backend, and WebOps disciplines. **In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Assist in developing and maintaining features across our WordPress multisite network.
- Contribute to both frontend and backend development tasks with growing independence.
- Learn and follow our established development workflow, including version control, code reviews, and staging practices.
- Collaborate with developers, marketers, and designers to implement site improvements and functionality updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various browsers and devices.
- Participate in team syncs, documentation efforts, and internal demos to share progress and knowledge.

**About you**
- A foundational understanding of WordPress development, including how themes, plugins, and multisite functionality work.
- Exposure to **frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)** and **backend (PHP, MySQL)** technologies.
- Familiarity with APIs (REST or GraphQL) and how they’re used to fetch and manipulate data.
- A beginner’s understanding of development tools like Git, task runners, or build tools.
- A strong desire to learn and improve, with openness to feedback and mentorship.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitude toward challenges.
- Basic awareness of performance, accessibility, and security principles in web development.
- Clear communication skills in English (written and verbal) for collaboration in a distributed team.
- A portfolio or GitHub repository with school, personal, or open-source projects that showcase your skills and enthusiasm for web development.
