**Hiring: Senior Web Developer.. This is a full-time position in a hybrid or remote work model in Colombia.**

**Position Summary**:
elev8.io is changing the game for Behavioral Health companies and is committed to helping our clientele close the gap between the millions suffering from addiction or mental health struggles.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop custom plugins on demand to extend WordPress functionalities.
- Maintain, update, and troubleshoot existing plugins to ensure compatibility and performance.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand plugin requirements and provide solutions.
- Design and develop WordPress themes from scratch, ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
- Customize existing themes based on client requirements and best practices.
- Create reusable templates and ensure they adhere to web standards and accessibility guidelines.
- Conduct regular performance audits of websites and implement optimization strategies (e.g., caching, compression, minification).
- Cleanse and streamline plugins to avoid redundancy and enhance site performance.
- Design and implement website architecture that is scalable and easy to maintain.
- Ensure proper code structure, organization, and documentation.
- Collaborate with designers and content creators to develop cohesive web experiences.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers on best practices, coding standards, and technology trends.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
- Organize and lead training sessions and workshops to enhance the technical skills of the development team.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with a strong focus on WordPress.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript..
- Extensive experience with Elementor as a web builder.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
- Strong understanding of website optimization techniques and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools.
