The NOLA (North of Latin America) delivery Engineering team is responsible for implementing software and hardware solutions focused on Public safety and critical mission customers.

**RD-S153 - Apps/Sys Engineer - Post-Sales - Non-Sales Plan - Post-sales position in which predominant job responsibilities and requirements occur after the sale of the company’s product to the client. Provides post-sales technical expertise during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products. May be involved in implementing detailed customer installation requirements.

Defines appropriate platforms and system specifications. Determines core server infrastructure, capacity planning, storage requirements and networking protocols. Develops technical, tactical and strategic plans, systems definition and feasibility determination.

This job also includes working with many internal and external deliverables such as documentation, system testing at a factory and field level, getting final customer acceptance. This role should be able to lead installation and subcontractor teams, be a mentor for other Engineers and leading complex projects.

**Basic Requirements**:

- College degree in Electronic or Telecommunications engineering, industry certifications, OR related work experience
- At least 4 year Experience with installation, administration, optimization and troubleshooting of:
1-Radio system(TETRA, P25 and DMR)

2-Database Servers, specifically with Microsoft SQL Server

3-Server Operating Systems, specifically Windows and LINUX

4-Network Switches, preferably HP, Juniper or Aruba.

5-Network deployment and design ( COMPTIA or Cisco certification is a Plus)

6-Firewalls and Routers, preferably with Fortinet Fortigate, Juniper and Motorola GGM´s

7-Storage Systems (SAN\NAS\DAS)

8-Server Virtualization, specifically with VMWare ESXi v.6+ and\or Microsoft Hyper-V 2012+

9-Server Hardware, including blade servers

10-Fixed and mobile video solutions

11-Computing Aided Dispatch systems

12- 911 systems

13- Software solutions environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Leading skills
- Certified experience leading or managing people
- Mother tongue Spanish, English level B2 or currently studying
- Experienced in creating positive working relationships with customers.
- Able to travel 75% or more.
- Able to multitask effectively in fast-paced demanding mission-critical environments both as an individual contributor and team member.
