The Asset Management Business Development Manager will actively engage in growing and defending the core business through key service integration initiatives as a main competitive advantage and differentiator. John Crane’s Asset Performance Solutions includes Reliability Engineering, Maintenance Engineering, Condition Monitoring, Lubrication Management, Inventory Optimization and Material Management, Equipment Integrity and GHG Emissions Reduction Management, leveraged by digital technologies to create unique value for customers. Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and drive business development activities promoting sustainable long-term growth, working with John Crane’s sales teams and key internal commercial stakeholders to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and secure asset performance management opportunities
- Provide impactful presentations and actively participate in win-win contract negotiations with customers at corporate and site levels across Latin America
- Promote product and service integration holistically to support customers in their asset management journey, targeting their organizational success
- Engage with regional sales teams and fully support them in the opportunity prospection, qualification and business development process with customers
- Collaborate with John Crane’s key internal stakeholders as needed to jointly support the development of sales projects
- Act as the asset management technical and commercial lead, becoming the focal point of the regional sales teams and regional sales management
- Collaborate at the global level, being part of the asset management business development functional team, with full interaction and engagement with peers based in other regions and countries
- Ensure the strict adherence to Quality, Health and Safety and Environmental management systems across the business

- 10+ years consultative sales and/or business development experience in an industrial environment
- Experience working for large companies in the asset management market
- Engineering Degree or relevant technical field experience with proven commercial knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal stakeholder management skills
