**PURPOSE OF ROLE**:
Audit Team as we undergo fundamental change in the way we conduct our business. With a greater focus on digitization, data driven analytical capability and our new strategy focusing on Distribution Excellence and Vehicle Lifecycle Services, the internal audit function will need to be at the centre of our business, providing robust yet nimble assurance and truly adding value as we further strengthen our audit, risk and compliance framework. The strategic move towards modern ERP systems will require this role to provide assurance over the new ERP landscape across the Inchcape Group.

**Job role and responsibilities**:

- Reporting to Senior Internal Audit Manager -IT, Digital and Program Assurance, responsible for delivering SAP implementation (pre and post) and program assurance reviews and playing a key role in the successful delivery of the Group IT, Digital and Program Assurance Audit Plan.
- Supporting the delivery of other ERP and strategic program assurance reviews led by the Senior Internal Audit
- Manager or Group IT and program Assurance Assistant Manager
- Building on strong SAP technical knowledge, being a self-starter in performing audit testing in SAP implementation reviews including planning, designing, and executing testing procedures in line with audit objectives.
- Being confident in presenting audit findings and recommendations to management and can influence management’s decisions to strengthen internal controls and address risks based on facts and evidence
- Delivering adequate and high-quality audit working papers to support the audit conclusions in the TeamMate+ system
- Working closely with and supporting the business to address and close identified audit remediation actions in a timely manner
- Contributing to the enhancement of IT and program assurance audit universe and supporting the Senior Internal Audit Manager - IT, Digital and Program Assurance in the annual risk assessment and audit planning process
- Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders and assurance providers across all the Region and Group as appropriate. Acting as the SME of SAP systems and a business partner providing advice to key stakeholders on SAP controls. Maintaining an up-to-date current knowledge of SAP and other ERP systems and Inchcape’s business
- Supporting the Data Analytics initiative within the Group Internal Audit function and contributing to the development of analytical tools that will provide business insights and have the potential for continuous auditing.
- Engaging with teams across the business to further enhance governance, risk management and control frameworks for information and technology, provide insights into opportunities for efficiencies, cost saving and process improvements through the implementation of best practices and industry standards.

**Skills and experience required**:

- Bachelor’s degree and professional qualification of CPA/CISA/CIA or equivalent. SAP certifications will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of all SAP modules (e.g. FI, CO, MM, SD and SRM). Understanding SAP functional specifications and program objects. Experience of performing or reviewing unit, functional and integration tests in the SAP implementation projects. SAP S4 HANA, GRC and IS AUTO experience preferred.
- Experience with SDLC Methodologies. Knowledge and experience of delivering projects in an Agile framework is desirable.
- Knowledge of internal control framework for information and technology (e.g. COSO, COBIT) or ISO 27001) and ITIL will be beneficial.
- Ability to identify and assess risks in the systems and translate it into impact analysis for internal control effectiveness, efficiency, and financial reporting
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to liaise with, and influence, process owners and management.
- A self-starter with good problem solving, analytical and project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects within set timelines and with mínimal supervision. Ability to pay attention to detail while seeing the ‘big picture’.
- Flexible and adaptable; a proven track record of and preference for working in the changing environments with ambiguity.
- Strong commercial acumen, resilience, confidence and willingness to excel with focus on a continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in English (business level verbal, spoken and written) with knowledge of other languages desirable
- Comfortable with travel internationally (~20% when travel restrictions are lifted)
