**The Position**:
A service delivery manager's role focuses on keeping clients satisfied with the company's services through managing projects, fixing any reliability issues, tracking service metrics, managing budgets and helping lead the professionals responsible for getting services delivered to clients, being a primary contact point for multiple stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**:
TEAM Strategy development
- As a part of the strategic account management initiative, work with executives to expand the existing accounts and develop new service offerings
- Assist sales team to understand prospective client needs and come up with a tailored solution proposal to address them and help close the deal
- Collaborate with various departments to achieve smooth execution of internal operations
- Customer journey & product management
- Define client’s objectives and align company’s and delivery team efforts to reach them
- Suggest innovative solutions to business challenges
- Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Project Managers, and Project teams to recommend and drive process improvements.
- Create product roadmaps, story mapping and be familiar with design thinking techniques to discover client needs and formulate solutions.
- Anticipate possible risks and proactively manage them
- Track Service Level Agreements (SLA) with existing managed services account to ensure service excellence
- Initiate, plan and execute improvement initiatives when the need is observed
- Build trustworthy and long-lasting work relationships with clients to ensure business growth
- Serve as an escalation point for delivery teams to ensure work satisfaction, recognition of the efforts, and prompt issues resolution
- Provide regular updates to the clients’ and TEAM’ stakeholders
- Adaptive attitude to change, transmit same to others

Team management
- Ensure that product and project management practices are followed
- Ensure team capacity and velocity are measured and enhanced.
- Define best practices for teams to provide accurate estimation in features development.
- Ensure high standards of delivery excellence, monitor, and improve project practices
- Finance
- Work with the accounting team to forecast revenue growth, provide monthly data, and validate invoices before they are sent to clients
- Create resource plans to maximize resource utilization and revenue
- Track and develop reporting on resource utilization, billability, and timesheet logs

HR
- Work with the HR team to help achieve retention goals, collect data, suggest salary changes, conduct promotions and appraisals
- Provide feedback on the performance of team members, determine training needs and assist in professional growth aspirations

**Requirements**:

- 4-year degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar from an accredited college or University.
- 10+ years experience building commercial software, including 5+ years experience of project delivery and customer relationship management
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering projects.
- Experience of managing organization of at least 30+ people.
- Knowledge and experience of practicing modern software development methodologies
- Strong understanding of modern technologies and solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Service and customer-oriented attitude
- Experience creating budgets, project estimations and their execution.
