**Job Description**:
Our customer is the world’s leading provider of call center solutions that is providing industry leading Multicloud technologies that are offered to all the major cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure and GCP).
We are looking for a **Senior Java Software Engineer** to join our team, who will help us work on solutions and implement technologies. You will be joining a collaborative global team of like-minded people who thrive on technical problem solving and relish design challenges. You will be working along-side other engineers as part of an agile service team, delivering features across Front-End, Back-End, Eventing and Storage layers. Our software engineers think through and solve implementation details of scale, security, reliability and usability.
You will be part of a team building new features, ensuring scalability and availability of the entire platform and delivering high-quality code. We write code in Java /.NET / Rust / C++ / JavaScript, but experience with other coding technologies is a definitive advantage.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Taking part in building our new generation of services focusing on composability and quality architecture.
- Working with product and UX teams to field requests and build generic solutions that benefit all our customers
- Design, development, and testing of features/APIs that are secure, highly scalable and reliable.
- Ownership of features beginning to end from design documents and reviews to acceptance testing and deployment
- Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices, improve readability and anticipate issues
- Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required

Qualifications*
Experience and skills we are searching for: *
- 5+ years of experience with Java
- Strong knowledge of Elasticsearch, Lucene
- Cassandra experience would be a plus
- Node.js experience would be a plus
- Spring experience would be a plus
- Working experience with REST APIs and/or other API technologies.
- Experience with version control tools and processes (Github preferred).
- Experience with continuous delivery of cloud-based software using Kubernetes, containers helm, terraform etc.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
