**Job Description**:
Our customer is the world’s leading provider of call center solutions.
We are looking for a **Senior QA Automation Engineer** to join our team, who will help us work on solutions and implement technologies.
**The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to)**:
- Development, documentation, and execution of automated and manual tests across all stages of the product development lifecycle following best practices and methods
- Develop and maintain automated test environments for the assigned projects
- Estimate project test efforts, create test strategy, test plan and test cases for new projects
- Work collaboratively with product manager, development, QA, and technical publication teams during all stages of software development life cycle
- Demonstrate creativity, foresight, and good engineering judgment in anticipating and solving various engineering problems
**Qualifications**:
- BA or BS with 5+ years’ experience in software testing and/or development
- 3+ years of practical experience with test automation tools
- 2+ years of test/design experience
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language, preferably JavaScript or Python
- Experience in building automated test infrastructure and tools
- Practical experience in testing of distributed system (debugging techniques / fault isolation)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git/Mercurial, defect tracking and test management systems such as Jira/Zephyr
- Professional exposure to use of a Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP,)
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
**Desirable Skills**:
- Experience in testing solutions
- Experience in building and maintaining of cloud-based automated test environments
- Experience in development of test methodology, test procedures and test tools for software performance evaluation
- Development and maintenance of automated tests under Jenkins
- Experience with Selenium
- Practical experience with Java
- Experience with DBs such as MSSQL, Oracle or non-relational DBs such as Cassandra or redis, or dynamodb
**Personal Skills and Abilities**:
- Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a distributed multicultural team
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Fluency in English
