**A Day in the Life**:The Principal IT Business Analyst for PROS and Conga CPQ serves as the strategic interface between business partners and IT, providing leadership in business analysis, solution design, and ongoing support for complex CPQ platforms. This individual will act as a recognized expert in CPQ processes, drive high-impact initiatives across Sales, Pricing, Legal, and IT, and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions are delivered in alignment with business goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Engage with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Pricing, Legal, IT) to understand strategic objectives and translate them into business and technical requirements.
- Lead requirement gathering sessions and document use cases, user stories, and functional specifications.
- Define and manage end-to-end solution design and process improvements, ensuring alignment with enterprise IT architecture.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and system integrators during build and deployment to ensure solution integrity.
- Lead and coordinate system demos, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and end-user training to support successful adoption.
- Act as the escalation point for complex production issues, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify automation opportunities across the CPQ ecosystem.
- Stay current with CPQ platform trends and advise on capabilities and features to enhance business performance.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience, or 5+ years with an advanced degree, or 12+ years with a high school diploma/equivalent.
- Mastery of CPQ-related business processes and industry best practices.
- Broad experience with project management, system analysis, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and data modeling concepts.
- Experience working with Salesforce-integrated CPQ platforms, particularly PROS and Conga.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
