**PATIENT LEAD**

**WHAT YOU´LL DO**:
Our Patient Services Programs are designed to provide solutions with a sustained and significant impact on our patients, while complying with the applicable laws, regulations and industry codes.

The purpose of a Patient Lead is to support Patient care by addressing an unmet need of the Patient.

This is usually achieved by supplementing and strengthening the care and guidance provided by the Healthcare Professional treating the Patient.

**WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON**
- Develops and implements all strategies and tactics of the Patient Support Program, including services, and processes within their therapeutic area.
- Monitors the providers associated with PSPs, so that they comply with the weekly and monthly reports of the activities described in the contracts.
- Monitors compliance/adherence to infusions/monthly trainings of patients enrolled in the programs.
- Monitors providers associated with PSPs, aligning them with the policies and procedures of Takeda, certifying a successful performance during internal and external audits.
- Facilitates collaboration and communication between the patient area and other functional areas within Takeda (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Access, Commercialization), providing the necessary answers to improve treatment adherence and, thus, improve the patients' quality of life.
- Helps the franchises with the submission of statistical data that supports the processes of strategy, projection and persistence of patients under treatment.
- Helps with new molecule releases of franchises to allow access to patients that need it.
- Administers the budget for the area and ensures that the budgetary requirements are met.
- Oversees and supports patient support activities within their therapeutic area[ (Gastroenterology & Oncology)
- They will be responsible for guaranteeing good practices and compliance with all Takeda policies and the regulatory laws of each country.
- Renews or seeks to keep the PSPs up-to-date based on market research, etc., always making sure to cover the needs of the patients treated with Takeda products.

**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR**

**Experience & Skills**:

- University degree with Health Orientation (ej: Nursing / doctor) or Social Worker.
- Proficiency with regard to health insurance benefits, relevant state and federal laws and insurance regulations
- Demonstrated competency in establishing key relationships and working across various stakeholders including experts/KOLs,health authorities and management of third parties vendors.
- Content digital experience
- English fluent spoken & written
- Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry or in related positions.
