**Who We Are Seeking**
Left Field Labs is seeking a talented Senior Full Stack Developer Engineer - Lead to join our team. You will work alongside a group of dedicated and multi-disciplined technologists and designers to bring high-quality solutions to the market. We count on our developers to write elegant and well-documented code, with a strict eye towards the separation of concerns and maintainability. Our developers are creatives, we expect an eye for design, collaboration on interactions, and understanding of overall user experience when building our software.
**What You’ll Do**
- Develop solutions to business problems with code that includes user interfaces, interactivity, multimedia, communication with APIs, and authentication using both web frameworks and vanilla Javascript
- Participate in project planning sessions with team members to analyze development requirements, provide work breakdown and estimates of work
- Collaborate with UX and UI designers to validate wireframes and high-resolution design comps
- Participate in code reviews for your own projects and those across the company
- Author documentation on projects (such as Technical Design Documents) and for department knowledge sharing
- Manage a small team of developers that report to you
- Communicate directly with clients in meetings, presentations, and technical discussions
- Other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned
**What You’ll Need to be Successful**:
- Professional experience doing backend development with Python using Flask, Django, or similar
- Modern Javascript (React, Angular and/or Vue), Typescript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience developing SQL (eg MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (eg Firestore, Mongo)
- Working collaboratively on a development team using tools like JIRA and Git
- Ideally capable of CLI manipulation of Mac/Unix systems
- Experience with direct client interaction
- Experience with technical project leadership, from estimation through deployment
- Ability to architect solutions, notating needs and technology to fill those needs
**Bonus Points**:
- Additional Javascript frameworks like PIXI.js, Three.js, WebGL, Web Audio
- CSS animations
- Firebase, especially Firestore and Firebase Authentication
- Bash scripting
- Remote server sessions and management
