Project Manager Iii

AECOM Colombia is in need a an experienced Environmental Project Manager to support ongoing and growing projects focused on Environmental Due Diligence, Phase I&II, Risk Analysis, Remediation in the energy, oil & gas and various industrial sectors.

The primary functions include but are not limited to the following:
+
- Interact and collaborate with state federal regulators and stakeholders by way of negotiations within environmental projects in Colombia

+
- Manage environmental projects for private and public clients. Oversee and manage Environmental Due Diligence, Phase I&II, Risk Analysis, Remediation in various sectors

+
- Project team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery

+
- Prepare proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders

+
- Lead teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies in support of environmental projects

+
- Occasional travel required.

+
- Familiar with project invoicing and cash flow management

+
- Manages and directs professional and technical staff to complete complex environmental projects

+
- Leads teams by utilizing advanced scientific principles, theories, and practices

+
- Utilizes existing technologies and past experience to develop technical solutions to complex problems

+
- Interprets and records data, conducts analyses, compares findings to relevant studies and local, state, and national regulations to ensure compliance

+
- Analyzes financial statements and completes budget tracking

Minimum Requirements

+
- BA/BS in Geology, Engineering, or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.

+
- Project Management training or Project Management Professional credential

+
- Bilingüe (Spanish and English)

+
- Due to the nature of the work Colombia Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related degree

+ Professional License

+ 8+ years’ experience in environmental Site Assessment, Remediation (soil, water, sediment) project management

+ Experience with regulator and stakeholder negotiations in Colombia

+ Experience successfully managing environmental projects for private and public Clients. Environmental Due Diligence, Phase I&II, Risk Analysis, Remediation.

+ Experience in team management and scheduling of staff and resources to ensure on time and on budget project delivery

+ Experience preparing proposals, cost estimates, schedules, and change orders

+ Have led teams of professionals in executing Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Risk Assessment, and Treatability Studies in support of environmental projects

+ Occasional travel required.

+ Other responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, those listed below:
