As an **Accounting Specialist,** you will focus on accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) procedures, maintaining data integrity and supporting other departments.

**Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**:

- **_ Accounts Payable:_** Process and verify invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments, reconciling vendor statements, and handling payment discrepancies.
- **_Accounts Receivable: _**Generate invoices, track payments, reconcile accounts, and follow up on overdue accounts to maintain cash flow.
- Assist with financial records, preparing reports, and supporting month-end and year-end closings

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in any accounting software (Quickbooks if possible).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication.

**Minimum requirements**:

- **Studies**: A High School Degree is **required**. A Bachelor's degree is not required but is a plus, desirable studies in International Business, Business Administration, Accounting, Finances or any other career-related.
- **Experience**: At least 2 years of experience in accounting processes, especially in Accounts Payable and Receivable. Having experience in the logistics industry will be a plus.
- **Language**: Advanced English skills. C1 or higher is required.

**Perks**:

- **Schedule**:Monday to Friday from **8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m**. or **7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m**., following the American calendar.
- **Contract**: Indefinite term contract.
- **Location**: Only for Colombia, this position will be **remote**.
- **Salary**: $4,620,000 COP.
