**The Challenge**:
We are looking for a Financial Supervisor to join our dynamic and multinational team. This role is based in Bogota. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be directly responsible for supporting all finance and accounting tasks for Latam.

**A Flavour of what you will be doing**:

- The Finance Supervisor has the responsibility for overseeing financial records for the Latam Units, monitoring of internal controls, monthly budget execution and forecast preparation.
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting function, annual budgeting, planning, cash flow and forecasting activities alongside the Finance Director and BPO (Business Process Outsourcing).
- Ensure and support on the accuracy of Financial Results and Finance Records under IFRS, keeping supporting documentation of the reconciliations and controls executed to monitor the accounting records, identifying any deviation, and promptly providing a remedial plan of action.
- Review the quality, accuracy, and delivery of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports provided by the BPO and help in the preparation and approval of the financial information that is shared with headquarters and the respective commercial teams.
- Work together with the BPO tax team to ensure compliance with applicable tax obligations and ensure the accurate preparation of tax reporting and payment.
- Ensure and validate monthly reconciliations of the balance sheet.
- Ensure master data governance over chart of account, suppliers' data and banks
- Support the Finance Director and the headquarters finance team with any additional tasks concerning the accounting and financial areas.
- Work responsibly and proactively towards the meeting of local, corporate and group deadlines for the submission of documents for all processes established, such as submission of invoices, approval of payments, presentation of tax reports, preparation of local and/or corporate financial reports and balances, or any other processes requested by the Finance Director or headquarters office.
- Maintain an assertive, respectful, diligent, and effective communication, either written or spoken with external parties such as vendors, merchants, or outsourcing companies, as well as with internal users such as managers, team members and any company's employees.
- Work with the Finance Director, the BPO and headquarters finance team, to provide documentation, explanations, and support for external audit requests until the termination of the audit process.
- Maintain updated documentation of the company´s accounting policies under IFRS, suggest and document modifications needed, (if applicable).
- Document and keep control of the fixed assets, prepaid policies, insurance, and other prepayment to suppliers and employees of the company, validating the depreciation and amortization schedules
- Support the preparation and presentation of statutory or legal reports and obligations that are not covered in the scope of services with the BPO.
- Work together with the BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) for the issuance and delivery of supplier tax certificates, income tax certificates and similar.

**You're good at**:

- Intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Excel, Outlook & Word
- Fluent in English - level B2 a MUST
- Accounting qualification (CPA / ACCA or equivalent)
- +6 years of working experience in Accounting and Controlling
- Strong knowledge of IFRS (full and SMEs)
- Experience in multinational companies and/or startups.
- Complete knowledge of Colombia GAAP, Colombian accounting reports and tributary laws
- Solid experience in national and local tax reporting, DIAN, Withholding, Income Tax, Payroll.
- Experience in finance processes and systems enhancements is considered an asset
- Problem-solving, strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
