Senior .NET Engineer

**The role**:
Kin + Carta is looking to hire a **Senior.NET Engineer** with strong API skills to join our growing team

**Role responsibilities**:

- Consulting with clients to understand technical needs, analyzing solution options and making a recommendation based upon your knowledge and experience
- Developing enterprise-grade solutions
- Gaining technical knowledge of software, hardware, and open source technology stacks
- Partnering with top-notch designers to create award-winning user experiences
- Bridging the gap between elegant front-end design and existing enterprise backend architectures

**Minimum qualifications**:

- 5+ years of professional development experience working in.NET/ C#
- Experience working with Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline configuration
- Experience writing RESTful APIs
- 3+ years of experience working in SQL, including designing database schemas
- 3+ years of experience with or working knowledge of Object Oriented development
- The ability to work on CST or EST working hours
- Strong English communication skills and an interest in interfacing with clients

**Preferred qualifications**:

- 3+ years of consulting experience
- Past experience in IT systems administration, ideally with Windows Server
- Scripting experience in either Chef or Groovy
- Experience working with microservices
- An interest in working across a variety of other technologies outside of.NET such as Java
- Exposure to modern software practices such as Agile/Scrum, XP, TDD, Paired Programming, CI/CD, etc.
- BS in Computer Science, or a related field
