**The Role**

Cloud Operations Leader are the key link between Kyndryl and our clients. You’re in a technical leadership role, uniting and guiding stakeholders from clients, governance, and project executives to delivery and sometimes even the vendors who work with the client. You’ll be there from the start of a project — understanding what’s needed and figuring out the best technical solution. And you’ll be there at the finish, delivering the right product on time and within budget.

At Kyndryl we support all major cloud platforms, so you’ll get the chance to use everything you know - and then some. You’ll also become expert at knowing when and how to call on other SMEs outside your wheelhouse. Thinking your way around pre-existing limitations will grow your creativity and flexibility. **Who You Are**

You’re good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important - you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- At least 8 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 4 years in cloud operations or architecture roles.
- Proven leadership experience managing cloud operations or technical teams.

**Technical Skills**:

- In-depth knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), including compute, storage, networking, and identity services.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates).
- Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, CloudWatch) and incident management processes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools like Ansible or Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance frameworks, and cost management.

**Preferred Certifications**:

- AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- ITIL Certification for operational best practices

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities, focusing on motivating and mentoring team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for managing cross-functional collaboration.
- Analytical and strategic mindset with a focus on operational efficiencies.
- Proactive problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.

**Language**:
Advanced English (C1) required for leading technical discussions, creating documentation, and engaging with international teams.
