**Skills & Experience**
- 3 years of experience as a UX Designer.
- A strong understanding of what makes a good user experience with the ability to understand the big picture in product development.
- Diverse portfolio exhibiting your design process and user-interface deliverables.
- Familiarity with Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design principles.
- Proficient in Figma.
- A willingness to learn and grow as a designer.
- Ethically inclined design values.
- Loves Pets

- Bootcamp certification from an organization following best practices in UX Education
**Responsibilities**
- You will be working with the Whisker Product, Software Engineering, and UX teams and responsible for interaction design, research, and end-to-end user experience design
- You will work independently on holistic digital experiences and maintain Whisker Brand Standards and UX Guidelines in your design approach.
- You will conduct user research and make recommendations for digital solutions
- You will collaborate with the design team, development team and product management teams and communicate cross-organization
- You will design wireframes, storyboards, and ui designs and will test them for usability and accessibility
- You will assist in user interviews, user research and make recommendations and changes based on feedback
- You need to know how to document design patterns, and understand how to use teamwork with design libraries
- You need to know when to follow “best practices” and when to utilize your insights
