HR Specialist

The Job**:
Your main goal will be to strengthen employee engagement through forward-thinking initiatives and programs. Responsible for the day-to-day management of personnel, communications, and policy administration. You will monitor and ensure successful employee onboarding, report payroll changes, employee relations, labor law compliance, training and development.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Develop succession plans and promotion paths for all staff.
- Establish and execute human resource strategies to address challenges with employee performance, retention and engagement.
- Carry out focus groups and establish action plans to improve the level of employee satisfaction.
- Conduct exit interviews to better understand the reasons employees were leaving the company and establish plans to improve attrition.
- Assess training needs and create training and development programs.
- Responsible for engagement activities and internal communication.
- Employee performance review.

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**:

- English proficiency (B2) l Must Have
- Training experience l Must Have
- Project implementation experience (employee engagement) l Must Have
- Strong knowledge of Colombian labor law regulations l Must Have
- Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) l Must Have
- 4+ years of proven experience as an HR Specialist or HR Generalist l Must Have
- BSc in Psychology, Human Resources or relevant field l Must Have
- Knowledge in Health and Safety management l Nice to have
