ABOUT MBS

MBS, Unilever’s Marketing and Business Services Procurement team, is responsible for Unilever’s sourcing and supplier strategy and execution for all third party spend across Marketing, Business Services, and IT, supporting the business requirements of Brands, Divisions, Markets, and functions to drive 4G growth through strategic supplier management, cost and value management, sustainability, and innovation, aligned with Unilever’s Compass. The team manages an annual spend of ~9B Euro with a supplier base of about 40,000. Within MBS, the POSM Asistant Sourcing Manager is responsible for the POSM portfolio E2E for all Markets as per scope in LATAM

The Assistant Manager will work together with our Mktg Brand Building / Development and Media teams functions to increase awareness, brand building & propensity to purchase via strategic alliances with specific suppliers providing unique benefits and assets to accelerate growth.

He/she needs to focus on developing strategic alliances with sponsors suppliers to increase our presence in the marketplace within the 3 main platforms of UL - linked to consumer passion points: Sports, Music & Gaming.

On the arena assets creation, there is a framework to develop within the Media team and the digitalization process.

The role will foster and build a culture of collaboration and agility to enable an efficient project development and implementation, including benchmarking for different activities worldwide.. It will ensure close alignment in strategy with Marketing and Media functions, MBS global Sponsor/Media Team by defining and utilizing a robust support network for the whole team and providing clarity on the ways of working, roles and responsibilities.

Key Accountabilities:

- Understand the business needs related to Brand Building & Sponsor portfolio ; translate the business requirements regarding the Markets in scope by working very closely with the Strategic Sourcing Manager and Portfolio Strategy Lead.
- Develop & connect strategy with the Global Sponsorships team, being defined and created duringthis year, aligned with Unilever Compass, Procurement with Purpose and OneMBS strategies and principles
- Work together with Local Stakeholders functions (Brand Building / Development, Media, Finance & Legal) execute the sourcing strategies, operating models, and supplier relationships that help drive 4G growth in accordance with our plans, including a focus on Responsible Sourcing strategies.

Experience Required:
Qualification/experience
- 2-5 years of procurement or shopper marketing experience.
- Experience in managing complex portfolio/category, at global or multi-regional level is desired
- Good at negotiation and contracting
- Understanding of supply market, value-chain, and FMCG knowledge. Knowledge of POSM portfolio and supply markets a strong plus.
- Experience in strategic supplier relationship management
- Experience on large-scale project management is plus.
