PayRetailers is a payment gateway designed to handle mass online payments to the Latin American market.

The company combines local markets expertise with payment technology enabling global merchants to successfully expand their business into high growth, emerging markets while eliminating the many operational complexities of managing cross-border payments. Our strategy has created a differentiated model in the payments landscape.

Our team is growing and we are looking for a Fraud Analyst to be based in Colombia. As a Fraud Analyst, you will review transactional data and implement strategies to mitigate potential

risks, to ensure a safe and stable payment network for all PayRetailers Merchants and their respective customers.

**Primary Responsabilities**:

- Review and remediate fraud alerts.
- Analyse user documentation to verify consistency with their transactional behaviour.
- Monitor fraud rates and take necessary actions to keep them within acceptable thresholds.
- Proactively suggest system improvements to prevent fraudulent transactions and optimize existing fraud management processes.
- Analyze fraud patterns and develop new fraud detection rules.
- Provide support and advice to Merchants and other internal departments on fraud related matters.
- Conduct fraud investigations and generate fraud data reports upon Merchant request.

**Experience And Qualifications**:

- Proficient with SQL and experience exploring databases
- Good understanding of fraud metrics and patterns
- Advanced level of Excel
- Familiarity with customer support systems and practices.
- Proactivity and attention to detail
- Ability to analyze information, think through difficult problems, and make critical decisions based on limited information.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish are a must (at least B2 level).
- Previous experience with risk decisioning systems for credit card transactions (Cybersource, Sift, ClearSale, Kount, etc.)
- Previous experience as a fraud analyst to the Colombian market is a plus.
