**About the role**:
We are looking for a hearty Copywriter for our team in Bogota, Colombia who can wield words, wisdom and wit as they cover everything from CRM comms, social media, digital/offline ads, 360 campaigns and that can transcreate regional messages into impactful local messaging that resonates and connect with our audiences. This role is in charge of generating written content for all departments within the local organization that are required to communicate with end users ensuring brand values, quality and guidelines.

**What you’ll do day in day out**:
- Write clear, attractive copies with a distinct voice
- Clear understanding of briefs so as to create message hierarchies
- Interpret copywriting briefs to understand project requirements and translate them to concepts, ideas and executions
- Collaborate with designers, PR and other professionals on large and small scale marketing projects
- Edit and proofread copies as needed
- Transcreate regional messages into relevant local communications
- Leverage research and insights to develop communications that meet our customers’ expectations and needs
- Research and propose best practices and ideas
- Work hand in hand with the Content Creative Specialist to reach campaign objectives, needs and planning.
- Social media management and reporting of Beat’s local Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Youtube accounts
**Your skills and strengths**:
- Advertising or Communications Bachelor degree BA, or other related field
- 2-3 years of copywriting experience for an advertising/digital agency or in-house for a global brand
- Strong writing and grammar skills both in Spanish and English
- Ability to shape and adapt tone of voice based on company's reputation, brand identity and objectives
- Solid writing background; experience blogging and/or editing
- Ability to localize from English to Spanish and translate from Spanish to English
- An ability to adapt to a new tone of voice, helping to define it and push it forward
- Social media management and reporting experience
- Knowledge of Microcopy or UX Writing is desirable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines accordingly, meeting the standards of our stakeholders
