What You Will Do

This position is responsible to ensure that our transportation technology deployment projects and evaluations are properly organized, successful, and rolled out. The Onboarding Specialist will assist customers in creating a project plan, assist in organizing all individuals involved, create/facilitate a task/action list to hold all parties accountable, maintain dashboard, and measure success across multiple product lines. Ultimately, the Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring the needs of the customer are met within the scope of each project. Primary responsibilities include:

- Execute Operations Project Model
- Create Project Plan
- Develop Change Management Plan
- Create and maintain project charter.
- Maintain Open/Action Items List
- Complete weekly status reports as needed
- Communicate with all relevant stakeholders (clients, employees, management) proactively throughout the project, including communicating difficult, sensitive, or confidential information tactfully
- Facilitate meetings with a high level of organization to set agendas and expectations and summarize progress and tasks required with customers
- Identify and communicate project risks and roadblocks, with creative solutions to accomplish project and business objectives regardless of changing circumstances
- Ensure all parties have completed their tasks as described in the Project Management Plan
- Involve proper resources for learning sessions with customers on Trimble product features and usage
- Deliver presentations, to customers and internal stakeholders
- Ensure resources, tools, and processes are in place to attain Customer’s Business Objectives
- Set customer up for success through quality product implementation, expectation setting, and streamlined handoff to customer facing teams post implementation

What Skills And Experience You Should Bring
- Bachelors degree (or) equivalent experience in a technology, customer service or transportation related field
- Proficiency using Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
- Knowledgeable using MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Presentation experience to medium and small groups.
- Ability to educate a variety of roles and parties involved in the project (IT, operations, users)
- Highly organized with demonstrated problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective relationship management skills, including working in a fast paced environment and interacting with senior management and executives
- Able to manage total accountability for a customer specific project
- Experience with project management software (MS Project, Liquidplanner, Smartsheet, etc.)
- Able to work occasional evening or weekend hours as needed

- Transportation system experience (TMS, Telematics, Video)
- Project Management Certification
- Change Management Certification
- Smartsheet experience
- Certified Transportation Professional designation
- Knowledgeable on Trimble Transportation Products
