Key Accounting Manager

**Job Summary and Primary Responsibilities**
Manage strategic business opportunities and initiatives. Supports the development of strategic market/product line business plans and marketing programs to support sales in designated market segments. Identifies volume and strategic clients and develops partnerships with influential physicians, surgeons and/or hospitals. Develops and evaluates strategic plans to strengthen customer networks and build new relationship channels.
Interacts as a professional business partner with key decision makers from purchasing groups and private hospital groups
Builds strong relationships and networks with business partners in purchasing groups and private practice groups in order to acquire and negotiate commercial contracts and strategically expand into these groups
Acts as the first point of contact for key decision makers on a daily basis
Search and create 'commercial licenses' in purchasing groups
Acts as project leader in bidding processes and performs risk management in bidding processes
Negotiation of contracts with key customers and compliance with established deadlines to meet the long-term goals of each customer.
Communicates and collaborates with marketing, sales and logistics departments to ensure key customer needs are met.
Performs other functions assigned to it
**Required Skills / Capabilities**
Proven and successful track record in tender management and construction
Strong managerial and organizational capabilities (which include project management skills)
Excellent Negotiation Skills, Strong Network and Relationship Builder, Good Presentation and Communication Skills
Ability to adequately handle work stress and meet the project deadline
Solid problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
**Education and Experience**
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of experience related to a bachelor's degree; or 6 years and master's degree; or PhD with 3 years of experience; or equivalent experience
Requires 5+ years of medical device or spine business experience
**Travel and/or Physical Requirements**
25%
