We are hiring the best talent for **HR CATEGORY BUYER II** to be located in **Bogotá, Colombia**. Relocation is not applicable.
**Purpose**:
As a Buyer II you will be responsible for supporting the HR Category **for Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina, Central America and Chile.**
This individual will be responsible for handlings Sourcing Cases according to the Category Strategy developed by Regional Category Leader, lead bidding process based on strategic sourcing principles, develop and implement proactive projects, supervise, analyze and report on the organization’s activities and ability to deliver against targets for financial performance, quality, and service and compliance adherence.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and Drive the Procurement vision for, with and through the stakeholder community
- Lead bidding process based on Strategic Sourcing principles and acting proactively in order to identify opportunities of cost reduction and customer experience.
- Implement and develop strategic plans for HR Category based on Category Strategy and Spend Management
- Interact directly with vendors to ensure JNJ goals are met, including quality, reliability, innovation, and cost
- Partnering with Category Leads to deliver annual value improvements driving competitive advantage
- Supervise, analyze, and report on the performance to financial, service, reliability, quality, innovation, and growth commitments
- Implementation of category strategies including negotiations, spend management, and cost savings
- Provides support in the management and prioritization of the portfolio of specific initiatives in the Procurement segment (Pharm, MD&D and / or Consumer)
**Qualifications**
- Education: A Bachelor´s degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Business, Administration, or related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of procurement experience is required. Demonstrated experience influencing in a matrixed environment is required.
- Languages: Intermediate or advanced level of Portuguese and English (it is a great plus).
**Knowledge**:
- Broad-based understanding of core Procurement areas of focus regarding Strategic Sourcing, Negotiation and Spend Management
- Previous experience in Sourcing
- Demonstrated effectively working remotely with business partner
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and cross-functional projects
**Soft skills**:
- Analytical skills to perform data analyses in support of sourcing strategy development.
- Able to prioritize requests and propose effective cost/customer service alternatives when vital.
- Strong verbal and written communication skill with ability to confidently present sophisticated information
