**Job Summary**:
FullStack Labs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Artificial Intelligence to join our team. As the Director of AI, you will be responsible for building and leading our AI consulting practice. Your primary responsibilities will include developing technical vetting processes for hiring AI developers, initiating and overseeing client engagements that involve AI, working with the sales and marketing team to grow our AI consulting practice, and evaluating acquisitions of other AI consultancies. Although this role is director-level, there will be times when you will be expected to roll up your sleeves and directly contribute to projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ability and willingness to directly contribute code, data management, and other hands-on work to internal and client-facing projects.
- Develop technical vetting processes for hiring AI developers, such as coding challenges and interview questions.
- Integrate AI into our existing vetting technology to assess software developers.
- Oversee client engagements that involve AI, ensuring their success and satisfaction.
- Work with the sales and marketing team to expand our AI consulting practice and drive growth.
- Evaluate potential acquisitions of other AI consultancies to expand our capabilities.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience building and leading AI teams.
- Expertise in developing AI solutions for various industries.
- Strong technical background in at least two of the following: machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, neural networks, and other AI technologies.
- Experience creating and implementing technical vetting processes to assess potential hires.
- Experience managing client engagements and leading teams.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead a team.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
