**Our Infrastructure team at Nubank** The Infrastructure environment within Nubank is under the responsibility of Infrastructure Engineering, which deals with simple to complex challenges related to own and third-party environments, orchestration tools and cost efficiency. The Infrastructure Engineering team is part of the IT Engineering team and takes care of environments that communicate with the financial system (Brazil, México, Colombia), responsible for delivering infrastructure environments to internal customers from automations (Infra As a Code), administers and manages >8000 Nubankers' laptops, assertively delivers monitoring and seeks decision-making based on data. You will play a role in designing, implementing and maintaining highly available, scalable and resilient infrastructure environments, environment and practices, always thinking about high availability, scalability and the pursuit of service excellence, working closely with various teams within the organization. Strong troubleshooting skills are also expected as sometimes the analysis of complex infrastructure environments is required for problem-solving. - Deploy and maintain solutions in public, private, and hybrid clouds - Develops, builds, and maintains Cloud infrastructure & platforms - Implements solutions to manage AWS environments via code. - Performs software implementations to optimize system/platform performance, efficiency, and capacity; may guide others on implementation and troubleshoot activities. - Supports holistic platform security posture which includes identifying risks, escalating potential concerns, and implementing both risk mitigation plans and control functions - Build, improve and drive security monitoring and security automation. - Drafts and reviews status reports and troubleshooting guides, carrying out project plans to ensure project milestones are met and progress is successfully communicated - Develops configuration, process, and procedure standards to support moderate to complex operational and engineering activities. - Design solutions with high availability and participate in the execution of disaster recovery plans (DRPs). **We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, who has**: We're looking for engineers with a background in multi-vendor third-party infrastructure and in-house as well, and those who have experience in developing internal solutions and managing or setting up third-party tools solutions. - Understand large-scale distributed systems, understanding their broad architecture - Understand horizontally scalable microservices written mostly in several languages programing leveraging upon functional programming techniques and hexagonal architecture - High throughput jobs and inter-service communication using Kafka - Continuous Integration, creating Lambdas and Deployment into AWS - Plan and execute on entire features, collaborating with peers while planning the work ahead, and seeing it through - Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with critical situations - Successful track record developing and maintaining complex platform solutions - Experience with AWS infrastructure management and automation - Experience operating with infrastructure standards in a regulated industry. - Experience with software deployment and configuration automation - Working experience in a modern development environment, with automation pipelines and Infrastructure as a Code. - Solid understanding of Cyber security concepts, including threats, vulnerabilities, security operations, encryption, boundary defense, authentication and risk management - Succes
