**Smart Wires is currently looking for a Project Manager
- I based in Medellin, Colombia to support our Project Delivery team.**

**The Position**

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Support the delivery of LATAM projects to meet scope, schedule, and cost while maintaining safety and quality.
- Work to ensure the project details and administrative duties are under control and on time.
- Support our customers with your organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Develop and use sound project management practices and work collaboratively across a diverse and high-performing team.
- Accept and provide feedback to your team and leaders - both positive and constructive.
- Drive analytical understanding of risks, costs, and performance through effective use of metrics, analysis, and organization.
- Produce standard project deliverables and reports with sufficient time for team review before customer due dates.
- Identify and flag project risks for action by the project leaders.
- Bring a continuous improvement mindset. Flawless execution is always our goal. When we fall short, we learn from mistakes and get better going forward. The Jr. PM will need to be resilient in failure and seek to improve on success.

**Requirements**:
**Required Skills and Experience**
- Fluent in both Spanish and English
- Degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering, project management, or construction management
- 1-5 years of electrical / utility deployment experience
- 1-5 years of relevant project management / project coordinator / project engineering experience in the energy sector.
- An understanding of project management control systems (scheduling, cost control, safety, procurement and estimating)
- Basic knowledge of contract law and project accounting
- Experience with project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, P6) and Gantt chart schedules

**Desired Skills and Experience**
- Civil, structural, or electrical engineering experience and/or education
- Experience managing or supporting projects in a high voltage substation environment
- MS Office fluency
- Proficient in Smartsheet and other collaborative PM tools
- Proficient in MS Project or other scheduling tools
- Possess remarkably strong organizational and analytical skills
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
- Experience managing or supporting large utility and/or EPC projects
- Problem solve independently and synthesize information from various sources
- Work efficiently and comfortably handling multiple projects and tasks concurrently by effectively managing internal interactions and competing priorities
- Are determined to make a positive, long-lasting impact on climate change

**Location**
- This is a hybrid or remote position based in Colombia, preferably close to Medellin.

**Travel Requirements**
- The role will require travel up to 30% of the year depending on the project as well as international travel to our factory in Florida, USA.

**Safety Requirements**
