**We are searching for the best talent for the Medical Director LA North to be Bogota, Colombia**
**Your main responsibilities will be**:
- Directs Managers and/or senior individual contributors in a matrix environment, and is accountable for meaningful career development conversations and regular coaching and feedback.
- Leads the continued development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy, including external stakeholder management, communication, patient identification, evidence generation, publications, and medical education.
- Determines methods for fulfilling unmet medical needs through the generation of scientific evidence.
- Develops teams responsible for delivering scientific value to key stakeholders and patients.
- Builds and maintains relationships with external stakeholders. Contributes to the planning of external stakeholder management, scientific communications, evidence generation, publications, and medical education activities.
- Gathers medical insights and builds a deep understanding of external stakeholders’ needs to inform and shape development of medical affairs strategy.
- Designs novel approaches to address clinical workflows and technical problems in clinical practice.
- Develops a team responsible for the design and creation of materials and content used in scientific communications.
- Responsible for managing operational aspects of their teams (e.g., budget, performance, and compliance), as well as implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business needs.
- Proactively creates a purpose driven environment by aligning Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives with the strategies and goals of the team and enterprise.
**Qualifications**:
- MD is mandatory
- 10 - 15 Years Work Experience, preferred in pharma industry, in Medical Affairs and Medical Director level roles
- Proven track record of interacting with people with complex accountabilities and broad experience working with teams outside of medical affairs.
- Strong experience in Medical strategy development and execution.
- Communication and presentation skills.
- Business acumen and learning agility
- Teamwork, negotiation, coaching and influencing skills - able to work effectively in a matrix needs.
- Deep understanding in healthcare and medical compliance.
- Pharmaceutical Market Knowledge.
- Proven capacity to work through complexity, difficulty, and adverse situations with agility and adaptability.
- Previous Medical Experience or similar level desirable.
- Awareness of, and adherence to, Johnson & Johnson Credo values
- English: Fluency is mandatory.
