**About the Job**

The Deal Desk is part of the Global Pricing & Contracts team within NIQ Revenue Office.

Deal Desk works closely with NIQ Sales on the proposed price and terms of client deals. Deal Desk associates serve as the trusted advisor to the Sales team on deal structure and quoting, advises the team on alternative contract options and value propositioning to help drive deal closure and profitable revenue growth.

Deal Desk Analysts are the front line of the North America Deal Desk team, working with hundreds of salespeople every day to maximize outcome of deal negotiation and achieve revenue goals. The high volume of deals, across a wide variety of client types and in various marketplace conditions, provides the NA Deal Desk Analysts with a tremendous opportunity to learn about price, terms, deal structure, negotiations, contracts and sales.

**Responsibilities**

• Shepherd deals through the sales cycle in collaboration with the appropriate cross-functional teams.
• Analyze price getting and source of revenue walk in deals.
• Discount & terms exception approvals. Review & approve low tier discounts.
• Use department guidelines to approve certain terms exception requests.
• Make recommendations to Deal Desk leadership about approvals.
• Manage communications with sales reps and deliver approval/rejection context.
• Drive adoption of quote to cash (Q2C) tools and Deal Desk processes.
• Monitor and enforce Deal Desk and CRM process compliance.
• Assist & train on Q2C tools.
• Lead projects to improve Deal Desk-related processes for sales.

**Qualifications**

Hard Skills

• Degree in Business, Computer Science, Business Management or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Solid analytical background and experience with handling large data sets.

- ** Fluent** in **English.**

• Experience using CRM Systems (MS Dynamics) and knowledge of data visualization and analytics tools (MSBI).

Soft Skills

• Critical attention to detail with a high level of accountability
• Ability to prioritize at times of high volume
• Affinity to negotiations.
• Other languages are a plus.
