CI&T is looking for a talented and passionate Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team.
As an individual contributor, you will be responsible for coordinating QA resources for IT projects in a fast-paced environment, assisting in and implementing the test strategy, reviewing requirements as testable, and developing test cases supporting the approved test strategy.
This position will contribute to project efforts for high-quality defect-free deployment according to schedule.
**Responsabilities**:
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical test cases for thorough coverage of new feature(s).
- Create and execute test scenarios/detailed test cases that clearly articulate test objectives, steps, and expected results.
- Ensure that the defect tracking system is appropriately updated daily and run reports to provide insight into trends and status of team activities.
- Assist development and database teams in troubleshooting complex technical or end-user scenarios.
- Guide team members and collaborate closely with testers and development teams to ensure test cases/plans are being implemented.
- Drive testing efforts of multiple projects simultaneously.
**Requirements**:
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance / Testing experience
- 5+ years of SQL experience
- 5+ years of data validation experience
- 5+ years of experience with ADO/JIRA and similar defect-tracking systems
- REST/JSON/XML Testing (Experience with SoapUI)
- Mortgage Experience desired and experience with Empower LOS would be ideal
